Bahamas

So if you do not know this by now, we are actively trying to visit a new Caribbean island every year - but even though the Bahamas is often grouped in with Caribbean islands, it's actually not in the Caribbean Sea.

Can you believe it?!

Technically the Bahamas sits just off the coast of southern Florida, but that did not stop us from adding it to our "Caribbean list", after all it has so many similarities to the Caribbean - and we did not regret it!

We wanted to rest and relax after a hectic time planning the wedding while still enjoying typical activities that we do not have the chance of enjoying in Barbados. Therefore, it is indeed an island for everyone, from the romantics to those looking to simply relax, to the families looking to enjoy downtime together and the adventure seekers. 

So yes, the Bahamas will always have a special place in our hearts!
