Amenities: Due to it's secluded nature you will find very few amenties here but this this lack of commercialization is part of its charm. There are no public restrooms or food stalls directly on the beach, so it's a good idea to bring your own snacks, water, and any beach essentials you might need for the day. The natural shade provided by the trees lining the beach makes it perfect for picnics and relaxation.


Nearby Food and Drink: While Gibbs Beach itself doesn’t have food and drink options, nearby Mullins Beach offers several choices such as the Royal Westmoreland Beach Club as well as Sea Shed which is just a short walk away, providing delicious food and refreshing drinks with a stunning view of the beach.


Be Aware: There are no lifeguards on duty at Gibbs Beach therefore, always be mindful of the ocean conditions and never swim alone. The beach’s calm and clear waters are typically safe for swimming, but it’s always wise to stay vigilant.


How to Get to Gibbs Beach: One can access Gibbs Beach in two ways. You can access it either from Mullins Beach or via a footpath next to the Southwinds vacation rental. If you’re starting from Mullins Beach, take a leisurely stroll south along the coastline. But for either options, parking is not readily available, therefore, most persons tend to park in the streets perpendicular to the main road. While it is not a safe option, it is the only option that exists therefore park neatly and do not leave any valuables in the car.
